My dinner tonight, hiyayakko or 冷奴.
It&#8217;s a very easy dish. You just take a block of tofu and cut it, then slice it if you wish, and drizzle a little sesame oil, a little soy sauce, sprinkle some ginger, some spring onions (fresh from our generous neighbour&#8217;s garden), and I added some shiso and shichimi togarashi to mine. A little zing!
So refreshing. So cooling. Please try hiyayakko sometime!
