The 70s Titans were marked by kind of uneven inking, but at least everyone always looked pretty good when they were in the book! I tried to reflect in my picture the essence of the Gabriel’s Horn disco headquarters, along with Speedy’s band Great Frog — which both Speedy and Mal played in!
I wasn’t about to subject you to me in tights, but my usual Lilith outfit works!

Okay, I am not sure what forces of the universe conspired to make this happen, but I originally was just going to take Disco Wolvie as a black and white print. My friend wanted me to colour it, even before seeing it, and I was initially resistant to it; I felt that it would make my prints look homogenous (since I have little faith in my colouring — I guess we all have nagging doubts about our work), and in any case it was so jokey that I felt no-one would want it coloured.
Somehow the file I provided him with was problematic, and one thing led to another, and I ended up doing this as the last completed, coloured print for Heroes Con. This had better be popular! :) I felt like, with everything that happened, someone was telling me that it was meant to be in colour. So here you go! Disco Wolvie for you! Stop by Heroes Con and pick one up! It’s the companion piece to my discotastic Dazzler!
I decided this week I would present to you some of the prints that I’ll have with me at Heroes Con! Most of these I’ve done in the last few weeks, just for the show. They are characters very dear to me, so I hope you’ll like them too. Of course, I’m doing sketches at the show too, so come get a sketch from me!
Please spread the word if you can! If you know of any blogs that take submissions, please submit them! As long as you link back to me, it’ll be very helpful! I’m relying on you.
I hope to see you at the show! I’ll be at location AA-48.
The Heroes Con website is at http://www.heroesonline.com/heroescon/
It will be 22-24 June, in Charlotte, NC at the Charlotte Convention Center, located at 501 S. College St., Charlotte, NC 28202.
Please help me make this a successful first time attending! :) I love you all!

My character Disco Prince, soon to star in a comic work I’m developing! I also play him on Champions Online, where I have developed his visual look. He was chosen by the God of Disco to spread love and justice. He also has a disco headquarters…ON THE MOON.
I don’t typically do paintings, but I wanted to do something with this. I learned a lot doing it, and I enjoyed doing it. I hope you like him too!
