A hilarious addendum...
A friend of mine just updated me on the Comics Code situation: apparently the Comics Code Authority have been defunct since at least 2009. However, DC, Archie, and others have been sending them comics and money until this year, unaware that they no longer effectively existed.
Apparently no-one knew who they were or that they had stopped existing!
This is both hilarious and sad, and quite a bit...
